LG Electronics India Ltd has launched a new range of semi-automatic washing machines, combining washing performance, convenience, durable construction and premium design.
The new lineup comprises 15 models with capacities ranging from 8 kg to 12 kg, offering consumers options based on family size, laundry requirements and design preferences.
Exports planned from 2027
Exports of the AX semi-automatic washing machines are scheduled to begin in 2027, with the company targeting more than 10 countries globally.
“The new Semi-Automatic Washing Machine range is designed for consumers who expect more from everyday laundry. It combines LG’s trusted technology, durable engineering, premium design and smart features that solve real household challenges,” LG Electronics India, Home Appliances Solution Sales Division Leader, Young Min Hwang, said.
New features improve washing
The range features Dual Spin Shower, which uses two water inlets to rinse residual detergent more effectively. The Roller Jet Pulsator+ creates dynamic water movement to improve cloth circulation and help remove stubborn dirt while caring for fabrics.
The Ultra Scrub Wall uses a specialised scrub pattern to tackle tough dirt on cuffs, collars and heavily soiled areas. The New Smart Filter captures lint during the wash cycle and can be removed and cleaned easily.
Faster drying and flexible washing
Wind Jet Dry+ uses airflow during spinning to remove excess moisture and help clothes dry faster.
The range also offers 3+1 wash programmes for greater flexibility, along with Rat Away Technology aimed at providing additional protection and durability.
Focus on durable design
The new washing machines feature a strong box-type body, bold patterns, durable knobs and premium colour options including Onyx Black, Middle Black and Burgundy.
Select models are equipped with a toughened glass lid with a soft-closing mechanism, offering enhanced durability, quieter operation and a more premium user experience.
Made In Greater Noida
The new range is manufactured at LG Electronics India’s Greater Noida facility.
The company said the lineup combines washing performance, convenience, design and durable engineering to provide an enhanced laundry experience for Indian consumers.
