Practo Reshuffles Leadership Team, Shashank ND Elevated To Chairman

Digital healthcare platform Practo has announced a new leadership structure as it enters its next phase of growth, with Founder and CEO Shashank ND Singh being elevated to Managing Director and Executive Chairman and Jagnoor Singh appointed Chief Executive Officer.

The changes took effect on September 1, 2026, as Practo reported business growth of 40% year-on-year and said it has remained profitable for the past two and a half years.

Shashank ND Singh takes expanded role
As Managing Director and Executive Chairman, Shashank ND Singh will continue to shape Practo’s overall vision, product and strategy. He will also lead the company’s long-term innovation agenda, capital strategy, inorganic growth and corporate development initiatives.

Practo, Founder, Managing Director and Executive Chairman, Shashank ND Singh, said, “Over the past 18 years, Practo has built a trusted healthcare platform connecting patients, doctors and providers at scale. He said Jagnoor Singh had brought operating rigour and ambition to Practo and had been instrumental in advancing its growth strategy.

Jagnoor Singh becomes CEO
Jagnoor Singh, who previously served as Chief Operating Officer, joined Practo in January 2025 and has been responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy, strengthening execution and expanding into new markets.

Before joining Practo, he held senior operating roles at Bharti Airtel, Unacademy and OYO.

As CEO, Jagnoor Singh will oversee Practo’s overall strategy, growth and operations across global markets, working with Shashank ND Singh on the company’s long-term vision.

He said the company would focus on global expansion, strengthening its role across the healthcare ecosystem and using AI to enhance products and healthcare outcomes.

Leadership bench expanded
Practo has also elevated three long-standing leaders into expanded roles as part of the restructuring.

Siddhartha Nihalani, Co-founder, Practo, has taken additional responsibility as Chief Operating Officer – B2C, overseeing the company’s consumer businesses.

Rowel Coelho, previously Head of Monetization, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer – B2B and will oversee Practo’s enterprise and corporate businesses. Siddhartha and Rowel together bring nearly three decades of experience at Practo.

Abhinav Lal, Co-founder, Practo, has been appointed Chief Scientist. He will lead the company’s exploration of frontier AI applications in healthcare, research
