EaseMyTrip Charts Vision 2030 Plan To Build Diversified Travel Ecosystem

CW Bureau ·

EaseMyTrip, one of India’s leading online travel-tech platforms, has unveiled its Vision 2030 roadmap, outlining a long-term strategy focused on diversification, technology-led innovation, global expansion and emerging travel opportunities as it seeks to strengthen its position in the rapidly evolving travel and tourism sector.

The company said the roadmap is designed to create a scalable, resilient and future-ready business capable of capitalising on new growth opportunities while delivering sustainable value to customers, partners, investors and other stakeholders.

Five pillars to drive future growth
As part of its Vision 2030 strategy, EaseMyTrip has identified five key growth pillars that will shape its future trajectory and reinforce its ambition of becoming one of the most comprehensive travel ecosystems in India and global markets.

The first pillar focuses on funding-led growth. The company has received Board approval to raise ₹500 crore, which will be deployed to accelerate expansion across high-growth segments such as hotels, holidays, technology and strategic business opportunities.

The second pillar centres on artificial intelligence and technology innovation. EaseMyTrip plans to strengthen its AI-powered travel ecosystem through ChatGPT integration and enhancements to its EVA virtual chatbot platform. The initiative aims to deliver more personalised, intuitive and seamless travel planning experiences for customers while driving technology-led business growth.

The third pillar involves expanding beyond core travel bookings. The company is increasing its focus on hotels, holiday packages, visa services, airport services, duty-free offerings and travel experiences, creating multiple growth engines beyond its traditional airline booking business.

Focus on global expansion
International growth forms another important component of the Vision 2030 roadmap. EaseMyTrip plans to leverage Dubai as a strategic hub to support growing cross-border travel demand and unlock new business opportunities in overseas markets.

The company believes its international expansion strategy will strengthen its global footprint while supporting long-term revenue growth.

Tapping emerging travel trends
EaseMyTrip is also positioning itself to benefit from changing traveller preferences by expanding its presence in fast-growing segments such as luxury travel, spiritual tourism, heritage tourism and premium travel experiences.

The company expects these categories to emerge as significant growth drivers as Indian travellers increasingly seek specialised and experience-led travel offerings.

AI-driven travel planning
EaseMyTrip, Chairman & Founder, Nishant Pitti said, “As travel discovery continues to evolve, we remain focused on building future-ready experiences through technology and innovation. By becoming India’s first listed travel company to integrate on the ChatGPT marketplace, we have taken an important step towards enabling AI-powered and conversational travel planning.”

He added, “Our Vision 2030 roadmap provides a clear framework for scaling these efforts across AI, international markets, non-air businesses, and emerging travel opportunities. Strategic partnerships, growth investments, and expansion across high-potential segments are strengthening our platform and positioning us for the next phase of growth.”

Q4 performance reflects strong momentum
EaseMyTrip reported annual Gross Booking Revenue (GBR) of ₹8,376 crore for FY26, supported by quarterly GBR of ₹2,138 crore during the fourth quarter.

Revenue from operations for Q4 FY26 rose 8.9% year-on-year to ₹152 crore from ₹139.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, reflecting healthy travel demand and growing adoption of the company’s expanding portfolio of travel services.

The company also recorded strong growth in its hotel business, with quarterly hotel room night bookings increasing 95% year-on-year to 5.52 lakh from 2.83 lakh. On average, around 6,000 room nights were booked daily during the quarter.

EaseMyTrip’s international business also delivered robust growth. Its Dubai operations reported Gross Booking Revenue of ₹453 crore during the quarter, compared with ₹232 crore in the same period last year, representing a year-on-year increase of 95.7%.
