Pricol Makes Top Level Changes; Vikram Mohan Named Chairman

Pricol Ltd, the Coimbatore-based auto components manufacturer, announced a leadership transition with Chairman Vanitha Mohan stepping down from the role.

The board appointed Vikram Mohan as Chairman, while Madhura Mohan was inducted as Executive Director and Siddharth Manoharan as Group Executive Director. Both Vikram and Madhura are related to Vanitha Mohan

The company also approved an additional corporate guarantee of ₹150 crore for its wholly-owned subsidiary Pricol Precision Products Pvt Ltd.

Q4 profit surges

For the March quarter, Pricol reported nearly threefold rise in standalone net profit at ₹78 crore compared with the year-ago period. Revenue from operations increased 38% to ₹834 crore.

Pricol Ltd Chairman Vikram Mohan said FY26 was a defining year for the global automotive industry amid supply chain disruptions, geopolitical trade tensions and market volatility.

He said the company demonstrated resilience and execution strength during the year, enabling it to surpass ₹4,000 crore in total income through a mix of organic and inorganic growth.

Focus on operational efficiency

Pricol continues to closely monitor geopolitical developments, currency volatility, higher commodity prices and rising freight costs, which could impact industry demand and profitability.

The company added that ongoing expansion projects and higher construction costs may also influence planned capital expenditure.

Despite external challenges, Pricol said it remains focused on operational efficiencies, disciplined cost management and strategic planning to mitigate risks. Product development, technology advancement and operational excellence would continue to remain key pillars of Pricol’s long-term growth strategy.
