Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd, a leading hospitality company, has expanded its presence in Eastern India with the opening of its second hotel in Bhubaneswar.
The new property, located in Bharatpur, features 65 rooms and is positioned to cater to business, leisure, medical and spiritual travellers. Of the total inventory, 50 rooms commenced operations on May 14, while the remaining 15 rooms will be opened in the second phase.
Strategic location
The hotel is situated close to key demand centres including SUM Hospital, commercial districts and tourist attractions such as the Khandagiri and Udayagiri Caves.
The property is around 8 km from Biju Patnaik International Airport and 11 km from Bhubaneswar Railway Station, providing connectivity across the city.
Lemon Tree Hotels President Vishvapreet Singh Cheema said Bhubaneswar has evolved into a major growth hub driven by the IT sector, healthcare and educational institutions.
According to him, the company’s second property in the city is aimed at addressing diversified demand from travellers visiting commercial and medical districts in Odisha.
