The Ducati Panigale V4 has clinched the 2025 Good Design Award, marking a significant milestone in its global design journey and completing a prestigious trio of international accolades.
Announced from Borgo Panigale, Bologna, the award recognises the Panigale V4’s excellence in design, reinforcing its status as one of the most visually and technologically accomplished superbikes in the world.
The 2025 Good Design Award, among the most respected and long-running honours in global design, is sponsored by the Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. Established in 1950 by design pioneers such as Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames, the award celebrates global excellence across industries.
With this win, the Panigale V4 adds to its recent victories at the iF Design Award 2025 and the Red Dot Award 2025, both globally recognised benchmarks of design distinction. The hat-trick of honours underscores Ducati’s continued dominance in blending aesthetics with high performance.
Now in its seventh generation, the Panigale V4 represents the latest evolution of Ducati’s racing DNA. The motorcycle refines the integration of aerodynamics and styling, achieving what the company describes as a harmonious union of form and function.
Drawing inspiration from the iconic Ducati 916, the design reinterprets classic stylistic principles in a modern framework, while incorporating cutting-edge innovations derived from Ducati’s successes in the Superbike World Championship.
Andrea Ferraresi, Ducati Strategy and Centro Stile Director, said the award reinforces the brand’s core design philosophy. “Every line and every volume of the Panigale V4 is born from a precise vision, where design and performance dialogue harmoniously. This recognition validates what it means to design a Ducati: creating motorcycles capable of generating emotion at first sight and delivering on that promise once in motion through the integration of beauty and technology.”
The latest accolade further strengthens Ducati’s global brand positioning, cementing the Panigale V4’s reputation as a benchmark in superbike design and performance.
