Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) has been recognised as one of the best airports at arrivals globally at the 2025 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) customer experience awards by Airports Council International (ACI) World.
In 2025, nearly 7,07,000 passengers globally participated in the ACI’s ASQ survey programme, a comprehensive benchmark for airport service quality. RGIA’s selection in the category ‘Best Airports at Arrivals Globally’ places it among a select group of airports globally that have delivered an exceptional first impression for passengers, reflecting strong performance across key parameters such as arrival processes, cleanliness, ambience, staff service, and overall ease of journey.
Hyderabad International Airport CEO Pradeep Panicker said, “At RGIA, we believe the arrival experience sets the tone for a traveller’s entire journey.”
According to ACI World director general Justin Erbacci this distinction is based on real feedback from the travellers. The ASQ programme is the only global initiative that measures passenger satisfaction while travellers are physically present at the airport, ensuring high levels of accuracy, transparency, and consistency. More than half of the world’s air travellers passed through an ASQ-rated airport in 2025, reinforcing the programme’s global relevance and credibility.
