Himalaya Food Launches Frozen Cinnamon French Toast Sticks In UK

Food processing company Himalaya Food International Ltd has announced the launch of its Frozen Cinnamon French Toast Sticks in the United Kingdom, marking the company’s first entry with the product into the UK market.

The launch represents a significant step in the company’s global export strategy as it seeks to diversify its revenue base following the impact of the “Trump Tariffs” introduced last year.

By expanding into new geographies, the company said it has been able to mitigate regional trade volatility and reduce dependence on specific export markets.

The UK launch follows the successful commencement of exports to Australia earlier this year and provides a strong platform for the company’s value-added frozen food portfolio in developed markets.

With the UK acting as a gateway market, Himalaya Food International plans to expand its presence across Europe. The company intends to promote its broader product portfolio, including specialty potato products and frozen appetizers, across the European Union (EU).

The company said its European expansion strategy is expected to receive a boost from the recently concluded India–EU Trade Agreement, which is expected to improve export competitiveness by optimizing duty structures and facilitating smoother supply chain logistics.

“The launch of our Frozen Cinnamon French Toast Sticks in the UK is a proud moment for our ‘Make in India’ initiative,” a company spokesperson said.

The spokesperson added that the company is transforming global trade challenges into opportunities by expanding its footprint in new markets such as the UK and Australia.

“With the new trade treaty in place, we see the EU as a core growth engine for Himalaya in the coming years,” the company said.

The move is part of Himalaya Food International’s broader strategy to strengthen its global presence in the value-added frozen foods segment while tapping into growing demand for convenient and ready-to-eat food products in international markets.
