Shipwaves Online Ltd has secured a purchase order from Hindalco Industries Ltd to implement an end-to-end logistics digitalisation solution aimed at strengthening the company’s export and freight management operations.
The order marks a significant milestone in Shipwaves’ growth journey and reflects the rising demand among large manufacturing enterprises for technology-driven logistics management solutions.
Hindalco Industries, the metals flagship of the Aditya Birla Group, selected Shipwaves after evaluating multiple logistics technology platforms and recognising the company’s specialised capabilities in digitising global freight operations.
Under the agreement, Shipwaves will deploy its platform to support Hindalco across several key areas of logistics management, including end-to-end export shipment management, AI-enabled freight bill audit, and digital freight tender management for imports.
Industry observers note that the adoption of digital freight management platforms is accelerating as companies look to streamline global supply chains, improve transparency, and optimise logistics costs.
The collaboration also strengthens Shipwaves’ presence within the Aditya Birla Group ecosystem, following the earlier onboarding of Grasim Industries Ltd on its platform.
The contract will be executed over a three-year period and further validates Shipwaves’ technology as a scalable enterprise solution for global manufacturers seeking to modernise their logistics infrastructure.
