Motovolt Mobility Plans To Open 100 Touchpoints In Three Months

CW Bureau ·

Electric two-wheeler company Motovolt Mobility has announced aggressive expansion plans to strengthen its retail footprint across India with 100 touchpoints over the next three months. The strategic rollout will significantly enhance the company’s presence across key Indian cities and towns, reinforcing its commitment to making electric mobility accessible for all.

The expansion comes as Motovolt targets the largely unaddressed 5-7 million utility electric two-wheeler market segment for goods and commercial transport, a space where major OEMs have limited presence. With its proven multi-utility flagship products M7, MVS7, and Express MV already serving prominent on-demand digital marketplaces and 3PL partners, the company is now focused on building robust customer touchpoints to serve individual entrepreneurs, small business owners, and delivery partners directly.

The dealership expansion strategy emphasises tier 2 and tier 3 market penetration through a customer-first approach. Each of Motovolt’s exclusive outlets will serve as an experience centre, service hub, and dealer-led outlet offering comprehensive after-sales care. This multi-functional model ensures that customers in emerging markets receive the same level of support and service quality as metropolitan users.

To democratise access to electric mobility, Motovolt has established strategic financing tie-ups with leading financial institutions. These partnerships enable small business owners, delivery partners, and entrepreneurs to transition to clean, efficient electric mobility without financial barriers, making the shift from conventional fuel-powered vehicles economically viable.

The expansion strategy will span across Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities to capture the surging demand for affordable, reliable electric mobility solutions. As urban logistics and last-mile delivery continue to grow exponentially, Motovolt’s retail network will ensure that businesses and individuals have ready access to purpose-built commercial electric two-wheelers designed for Indian conditions.

Founded in 2019 by veteran industrial entrepreneur Tushar Choudhary, the Kolkata-headquartered electric two-wheeler company Motovolt Mobility has rapidly evolved into a category creator offering purpose-driven, affordable, reliable and desirable advanced mobility solutions. Backed by proprietary technology optimised for Indian conditions, the company has launched a range of electric cycles, e-mopeds and the high-speed multi-utility M7 scooter to transform mass mobility across the country.  Having delivered over 32,000 vehicles that have collectively covered more than 65 million km, saved around 17 lakh litres of fuel and offset 37.1 lakh kg of carbon emissions, Motovolt is building the future of mobility while enhancing the economic well-being of its consumers.
