Elevated Design Stands Out

The new Exter enhances its road presence with redesigned front and rear bumpers, a refreshed black radiator grille and new R15 diamond-cut alloy wheels. A sporty wing-type spoiler further accentuates its SUV character.

Positioned as the tallest in its segment with one of the longest wheelbases, the Exter delivers improved headroom and overall passenger comfort, key differentiators in the segment.

Enhanced Cabin Experience

Inside, the SUV adopts a more premium and practical approach with a dual-tone navy and grey interior theme, a 3D carbon pattern dashboard and a sporty D-cut steering wheel.

Hyundai has also introduced segment-first metal pedals, reinforcing the car’s sporty appeal. Comfort enhancements include driver seat height adjustment and adjustable rear headrests as standard, along with generous cabin space and a 391-litre boot capacity.

Reliable and Efficient Performance

Powering the new Exter is Hyundai’s proven 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, paired with manual and AMT transmission options. Notably, it remains the only model in its segment to feature a refined 4-cylinder powertrain, offering smoother and more efficient performance across urban and varied driving conditions.

Strengthening Hyundai’s Youth-Focused Strategy

With the refreshed Exter, Hyundai is eyeing young and aspirational buyers seeking a blend of style, practicality and reliability. The launch signals HMIL’s broader strategy of delivering feature-rich, technology-driven vehicles tailored to India’s evolving mobility needs.
