Renault India, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Renault Group, reported a robust 77% year-on-year (YoY) growth in March 2026, with total domestic wholesales reaching 5,046 units, compared to 2,846 units in the same month last year.
FY26 sales maintain double-digit growth
The company also recorded a steady double-digit growth for the full financial year ending March 31, 2026. Total sales stood at 42,018 units, up from 37,900 units in FY25, reflecting an 11% YoY increase.
Kiger and Triber lead sales mix
The refreshed Kiger and Triber models continued to drive volumes, collectively accounting for 63% of total March sales. Their consistent performance underscores strong customer acceptance of Renault’s updated product lineup.
Updated models boost growth trajectory
The new Kiger and Triber have resonated well with customers, helping Renault India achieve a cumulative growth of 27% from Q2 FY26 through the end of the financial year.
This sustained momentum reflects a positive market response to the company’s renewed product strategy and its sharper premium value proposition for Indian consumers.
New Duster dispatches commence
The latter half of March also marked the beginning of dispatches for the much-anticipated new Duster SUV, signalling the next phase of Renault India’s growth strategy in the competitive SUV segment.
