TVS Motor Registers 24% Growth In FY26 Sales, Hits 58.89 Lakh Units

TVS Motor Company reported a robust 24% growth in FY26, with total sales increasing from 47.44 lakh units in FY25 to 58.89 lakh units.

Two-wheeler sales grew 23%, rising from 46.09 lakh units to 56.70 lakh units, while the three-wheeler segment posted a sharp 63% growth, increasing from 1.35 lakh units to 2.19 lakh units.

Total exports also witnessed strong momentum, registering a 33% growth, rising from 11.95 lakh units to 15.85 lakh units during the year.

March sales maintain growth momentum

The Chennai-based company recorded total sales of 5.19 lakh units in March 2026, marking a 25% growth compared to 4.14 lakh units in March 2025.

Two-wheeler segment drives growth

Total two-wheeler sales grew 25%, increasing from 4.00 lakh units to 4.98 lakh units. Domestic two-wheeler sales also rose by 25%, from 2.97 lakh units to 3.72 lakh units.

Within the segment, motorcycles registered an 18% growth, rising from 1.96 lakh units to 2.32 lakh units, while scooters outperformed with a 31% growth, increasing from 1.66 lakh units to 2.17 lakh units.

EVs see accelerated adoption

The company’s electric vehicle segment recorded a strong 44% growth, with sales rising from 26,935 units in March 2025 to 38,877 units in March 2026, reflecting increasing adoption of EVs.

International business expands steadily

TVS Motor’s total international business grew 25%, with sales increasing from 1.13 lakh units to 1.41 lakh units in March 2026. Two-wheeler exports rose 23%, from 1.02 lakh units to 1.25 lakh units, driven by demand across key global markets.

Three-wheeler segment posts strong gains

The three-wheeler segment recorded a 46% growth, with sales increasing from 14,567 units to 21,224 units in March 2026, indicating strong demand in the commercial mobility space.

Q4 FY26 performance remains robust

During the fourth quarter of FY26, TVS Motor registered an overall 28% growth, with total sales rising from 12.16 lakh units to 15.60 lakh units.

Two-wheeler sales grew 27%, increasing from 11.80 lakh units to 15.00 lakh units, while the three-wheeler segment recorded a strong 65% growth, rising from 0.37 lakh units to 0.60 lakh units.

Exports also posted a 24% growth, increasing from 3.40 lakh units to 4.22 lakh units during the quarter
