Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd (NMIPL) delivered a robust performance in March 2026, reporting cumulative sales of 10,388 units. Domestic wholesales stood at 4,408 units, marking the company’s highest monthly domestic wholesale in the past five years.
Sharp growth in domestic sales
The company registered a strong 98% month-on-month growth in domestic wholesales compared to February 2026. Exports contributed 5,980 units during March, reflecting a balanced performance across domestic and international markets.
Gravite launch fuels demand
The strong domestic momentum was supported by the commencement of customer deliveries of the new Nissan Gravite, which has received an overwhelmingly positive response from customers across India.
The start of Gravite deliveries marks an important milestone for Nissan in India, further strengthening the company’s product momentum alongside the continued performance of the Nissan Magnite.
