IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Mac View Infrabiz Pvt Ltd for the development of Holiday Inn Mandi, further strengthening its presence in Himachal Pradesh and expanding its portfolio across high-growth commercial and transit destinations in North India.
The proposed hotel will feature 100 keys and will be developed under the globally recognised Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts brand, one of IHG’s flagship offerings catering to business and leisure travellers.
Strengthening presence in North India
The signing aligns with IHG’s strategy of expanding its footprint in emerging markets supported by growing travel demand and improving infrastructure.
Holiday Inn continues to be one of the company’s fastest-growing brands in India, with 17 operational hotels and another 34 properties in the pipeline. The brand has maintained strong traction among travellers and hotel owners alike due to its global recognition and consistent guest experience.
Strategic location on Chandigarh-Manali corridor
The upcoming hotel will be strategically located in Mandi along the Chandigarh–Manali corridor, a key route connecting the National Capital Region with major leisure destinations in Himachal Pradesh.
The location is expected to attract a diverse mix of business, leisure and transit travellers. Mandi’s role as an administrative and commercial centre, coupled with improving regional connectivity, is expected to further support demand for branded hospitality offerings.
The hotel will feature 100 rooms and suites, three food and beverage outlets, and flexible event facilities including a ballroom for meetings, conferences and social events.
