GMR Airports Ltd (GAL) reported a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of ₹472 crore in FY26, marking its first annual profit in more than a decade, compared with a net loss of ₹817 crore in the previous fiscal.
The airport infrastructure major also posted a strong turnaround in the March quarter, reporting a consolidated PAT of ₹400 crore in Q4FY26 against a net loss of ₹253 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income for Q4FY26 rose 36% year-on-year to ₹4,043 crore from ₹2,977 crore, while FY26 total income increased to ₹15,201 crore from ₹10,836 crore.
Passenger traffic hits record high
GAL-owned airports handled a record 121.6 million passengers in FY26, including 31.7 million passengers in the March quarter.
Delhi Airport handled 78.7 million passengers during FY26, while Hyderabad Airport recorded its highest-ever annual traffic at 30.5 million passengers. Mopa Airport in Goa handled 5.4 million passengers during the fiscal.
Delhi Airport posts record PAT
Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) reported a PAT of ₹477 crore in FY26 compared with a loss of ₹976 crore in FY25.
DIAL’s total income rose 33.5% to ₹7,653 crore, while EBITDA surged 64.4% to a record ₹2,882 crore. The growth was largely driven by higher aero revenues following the implementation of revised tariffs.
The airport also handled its highest-ever cargo volumes of around 1.15 million metric tonnes during FY26.
Hyderabad Airport delivers strong growth
GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) reported PAT of ₹427 crore in FY26, up from ₹190 crore in the previous fiscal, marking its highest profit since FY20.
Total income increased 9.7% to ₹2,578 crore, while EBITDA touched a record ₹1,614 crore.
The airport operator also raised ₹2,100 crore through 15-year non-convertible debentures to refinance dollar-denominated debt, a move expected to reduce interest costs by over 150 basis points.
Mopa Airport expands network
Goa’s Mopa Airport reported 15% growth in annual passenger traffic to 5.4 million passengers in FY26 and captured nearly 49% market share of Goa’s total air traffic system in the March quarter.
The airport added multiple international destinations during the year, including Almaty, Manchester, Astana and Novosibirsk, along with several new domestic routes.
Bhogapuram Airport nears completion
GMR Airports said construction of the Bhogapuram Airport in Andhra Pradesh has reached 98.7% completion as of March 2026.
The company said it aims to operationalise the airport in Q2FY27, ahead of the original completion target of December 2026.
