Suzuki Motorcycle Ups India Network To 1,251 Dealers With Bareilly Entry

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt  Ltd. (SMIPL) is stepping up its retail and after-sales expansion, taking its nationwide network to 1,251 touchpoints with the opening of its first dealership in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh.

The new outlet, Shreejee Autozone LLP (Shreejee Suzuki), marks Suzuki’s entry into Bareilly and takes its network in Uttar Pradesh to 63 touchpoints, strengthening access to its two-wheeler portfolio in one of India’s largest two-wheeler markets.

The expansion comes as manufacturers increasingly look beyond major urban centres to deepen their reach into emerging cities and surrounding markets. For Suzuki, a wider retail footprint also becomes important as it expands its product portfolio, including its first electric scooter, the e-ACCESS.

Bareilly becomes a new Suzuki gateway
Located at Bisalpur Chowraha, Lal Jagat Pur, Shreejee Suzuki is a comprehensive 3S facility, bringing sales, service and spare parts under one roof.

The dealership is intended to serve not only customers in Bareilly but also those in neighbouring areas, reducing the distance between customers and Suzuki’s sales and after-sales network.

“The inauguration of Shreejee Suzuki marks our entry into Bareilly and further expands our presence in Uttar Pradesh,” said Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd Executive Officer, Sales & After Sales,  Harikrishna K.

He added that the new facility would provide customers access to Suzuki’s complete range of scooters and motorcycles, backed by service and spare-parts support under one roof.

The company also plans to use customer engagement programmes such as the Access Mileage Contest, V-STROM Experience rides, Burgman Hangout Parade and Gixxer Pitstop to build interaction with customers beyond the conventional showroom experience.

Network expansion gains strategic importance
For Suzuki, the significance of the Bareilly dealership extends beyond adding another retail outlet.

A larger network provides the company with greater geographical reach for sales while strengthening one of the most critical aspects of two-wheeler ownership — after-sales support.

The 3S format allows Suzuki to control more of the customer journey, from vehicle purchase and test rides to servicing, genuine spare parts and accessories.

This becomes particularly relevant as the company introduces newer technologies and products into the market.

Shreejee Suzuki will retail Suzuki’s full domestic two-wheeler range, including the Access, Access ABS, Avenis, Burgman Street and e-ACCESS scooters. Its motorcycle portfolio will include the GIXXER, GIXXER SF, GIXXER 250, GIXXER SF 250 and V-STROM SX.

The presence of the e-ACCESS in the portfolio gives the new dealership an additional strategic role as Suzuki expands its electric mobility proposition.

From showroom to ownership ecosystem
The Bareilly facility has been designed as more than a sales outlet.

It houses a fully equipped service workshop with advanced tools and trained service personnel, while customers can also access Suzuki’s genuine accessories, apparel and merchandise.

The approach reflects a broader shift in the two-wheeler industry, where the competition is increasingly moving beyond product specifications to the quality and convenience of the ownership experience.

For a manufacturer expanding into new geographies, ensuring that a customer can purchase, service and maintain a vehicle within the same network can be a significant competitive advantage.

Suzuki’s growing footprint therefore gives it an opportunity to strengthen customer retention while creating greater visibility for its expanding product range.

Uttar Pradesh becomes an important network market
With 63 touchpoints in Uttar Pradesh, Suzuki is building a substantial distribution and service base in the state.

Bareilly, as a major commercial centre in the Rohilkhand region, can also serve as a gateway to neighbouring markets. The new dealership could therefore help Suzuki reach customers beyond the immediate city limits.

The expansion is particularly relevant at a time when manufacturers are seeking deeper penetration beyond metros and established Tier-I markets.

For Suzuki, the strategy is straightforward but important: put the products closer to customers, provide service closer to where they live and create more opportunities for them to experience the brand.
