JSW Motors Ltd has taken a major step in shaping its supplier ecosystem by hosting its first-ever supplier partner conference & tech show, in collaboration with Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), at its manufacturing facility in Bidkin, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.
The event brought together senior leadership from strategic supplier partners, industry stakeholders, and internal cross-functional teams, underscoring the company’s intent to build a collaborative and future-ready supply chain as it gears up for its entry into the new energy vehicle segment.
Building a future-ready ecosystem
The conference marks a key milestone in JSW Motors’ journey to establish a robust automotive ecosystem in India. Designed as a strategic alignment platform, the event provided potential partners with insights into the company’s product and technology roadmap while setting expectations for future collaboration.
With participation from over 100 auto component manufacturers, the gathering highlighted the scale of industry interest and JSW Motors’ commitment to fostering a strong, localised supplier base capable of supporting next-generation mobility solutions.
Leadership signals strong localisation push
JSW Motors Ltd CEO Ranjan Nayak said: “At JSW Motors, we believe that building world-class mobility solutions requires a strong and future-ready supplier ecosystem. The first ever Supplier Conference & Tech Show reflects our commitment to collaborative growth, technology excellence and supply chain resilience. JSW Motors is months away from its first launch. The conference we’re holding today is a signal of how seriously we take localisation and how seriously we take the partners we’re building with.”
Suppliers ecosystem crucial
ACMA President Vikrampati Singhania said:“This initiative marks an important step towards building a future-ready and resilient mobility ecosystem in India. As the industry transitions towards new energy vehicles, the role of suppliers becomes increasingly strategic, requiring early alignment on product roadmap, technology direction and scale to enable timely investments and capability development. We are encouraged by JSW Motors’ strong commitment to collaboration and localisation, which will be critical in strengthening the domestic value chain and enhancing the global competitiveness of India’s auto component industry.”
Platform for innovation and collaboration
The conference featured leadership addresses, strategic business sessions, and a technology showcase highlighting innovations across automotive components, including design, development, manufacturing, and next-generation technologies.
Beyond presentations, the event served as a collaborative platform to deepen engagement with potential partners, facilitate knowledge exchange, and lay the groundwork for long-term partnerships that will be central to JSW Motors’ growth ambitions.
Glocal strategy at the core
At the heart of JSW Motors’ strategy is its commitment to building a ‘glocal’ automotive ecosystem, combining strong local manufacturing capabilities with access to global technologies. This approach is aimed at delivering world-class vehicles tailored for Indian consumers while strengthening domestic value creation.
By investing in flexible, agile, and resilient supply chains, the company is positioning itself to compete effectively in the evolving mobility landscape, as it prepares for its first product launch in the coming months.
