Britannia Bolsters Leadership Team With Key Global, Sales Appointments

Britannia Industries has announced two senior leadership appointments as the FMCG major looks to strengthen its international business operations and deepen its sales leadership across markets.

Chitwan Singh to head international business
The company has appointed Chitwan Singh as Chief Business Officer – International Business with effect from June 15, 2026.

Chitwan brings more than 25 years of experience in the FMCG sector across the United States, Africa and India. His leadership exposure spans food, personal care, beauty and home care categories, including multiple CEO-level assignments.

Strong global FMCG experience
Before this appointment, Chitwan held leadership roles at Godrej Consumer Products Limited, Olam International and Britannia Industries.

At Godrej Consumer Products, he served in several senior roles including CEO & Managing Director – North America & Nigeria and CEO – West Africa. Earlier, he led the Packaged Foods Business at Olam International across South Africa and Ghana Cluster in West Africa.

He had also spent over a decade at Britannia Industries in various sales and marketing leadership positions.

Academic credentials
Chitwan holds a PGDBM from S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.

Rahul Mahajan elevated as Vice President – Sales
In another leadership development, Rahul Mahajan has been elevated as Vice President – Sales with effect from April 1, 2026.

Rahul currently serves as National Sales Head – General Trade and brings more than 22 years of experience across sales, distribution and channel management in the FMCG sector.

Leadership across consumer brands
Rahul has been associated with Britannia for over three years. Prior to joining the company, he held leadership roles at Marico, L’Oréal India, Mondelez International, Bharti Airtel, Bharti Teletech and Akzo Nobel India.

He holds a PGDBM from Management Development Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
