Tyre major CEAT Ltd is focusing on expanding its global presence, completing the integration of the CAMSO business and accelerating premiumisation while investing in digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
The company expects input cost inflation and geopolitical uncertainties to remain near-term challenges but sees strong long-term demand fundamentals supporting growth.
International expansion
“Our international business contributed strongly to growth, with improved traction across key markets such as Europe and the United States. We continue to see significant headroom for expansion globally, supported by a more diversified market presence,” said CEAT Vice Chairman Anant Goenka in a letter to shareholders.
“The integration of the CAMSO business is progressing as planned and represents an important step in strengthening our position in global Off-Highway segments. We are steadily building capabilities across manufacturing and customer engagement to unlock its full potential,” he said.
Manufacturing and AI
CEAT maintained high capacity utilisation during the year and is making calibrated investments in manufacturing infrastructure to support future growth.
The company is also advancing its digital transformation with wider adoption of data and AI-driven solutions to improve agility, decision-making and operational efficiency across the value chain.
FY27 priorities
“As we look to FY27, we do so with both confidence and caution. Our priorities remain clear. We will focus on completing the CAMSO integration, expanding our global footprint and continuing to drive premiumisation across categories,” he said.
“At the same time, we will maintain a strong emphasis on cost discipline, pricing actions and capital efficiency to navigate near-term pressures,” he said.
Premiumisation focus
“As we enter FY27, input cost inflation has emerged as a significant headwind. However, strong structural demand drivers, a robust balance sheet and resilient business fundamentals position us well to navigate the challenges with agility and sustain our growth momentum over the long term,” said CEAT Chairman H.V. Goenka.
“We continue to sharpen CEAT’s positioning through premiumisation, technology-led products and deeper customer engagement. We also aim to democratise AI capability across the organisation and embed AI into regular workflows and decision-making,” he said.
