Brigade Hotel Ventures Names Vinay Gupta As Its Chief Executive Officer

Brigade Hotel Ventures Ltd (BHVL), a hospitality company, has appointed Vinay Gupta as Chief Executive Officer, as the company strengthens its leadership team and prepares for its next phase of expansion.

In his new role, Gupta will lead a team of seasoned professionals and oversee BHVL’s business growth, operational expansion and long-term value creation.

Leadership for next phase

“Vinay’s appointment comes at a significant stage in BHVL’s journey and reflects our commitment to building a strong leadership team for the future. His proven track record in driving business growth, scaling operations, and creating long-term value will be instrumental as we focus on our next phase of expansion,” said Brigade Hotel Ventures, Managing Director, Nirupa Shankar.

“We have known Vinay for the past 20 years, as he was the first GM of our first hotel. His coming back as CEO is a full circle moment for us,” she said.

Focus on guest experience

Three decades of experience

Previously, Gupta was associated with InterGlobe Hotels & Accor, where he led the transformation and repositioning of a 22-hotel portfolio, driving revenue growth, operational excellence and leadership development.

He also headed a portfolio of more than 25 hotels across India for SAMHI, with Marriott, Hyatt and IHG as brand partners.

International hospitality experience

Gupta has held multiple General Manager roles across India and Australia with Hilton, Accor and Mirvac, building expertise in luxury and upscale hotel operations while improving asset performance.

He has also held leadership positions in the UAE, the UK and Australia, adding to his experience across international hospitality markets.

Gupta is an alumnus of IHM Pusa, the University of Central Lancashire and Lancaster University.
