Garware Fulflex has acquired a fully automated medical products manufacturing facility in Texas as part of its strategy to expand its manufacturing footprint in North America.
The facility, spread across 30,000 sq. ft., is equipped with advanced injection moulding, blow moulding, thermoforming, extrusion, assembly and quality systems. It employs more than 250 people.
Expansion plans
The acquisition is expected to increase Garware Fulflex’s global revenue from about $100 million to $200 million, significantly expanding the company’s manufacturing scale and global footprint.
The company said the addition of the Texas facility will strengthen its production capacity, technical expertise, supply chain resilience and proximity to customers in the North American healthcare market.
