Electric motorcycle maker Ultraviolette has launched a comprehensive rider training academy, bringing its two model-specific riding programmes, ‘Into the Wild’ for the X-47 and ‘Track Attack’ for the F77, under a unified rider-development platform.
The academy will offer two specialised training pathways covering off-road riding and track performance, with both programmes structured across Level 1 to Level 3.
The initiative is aimed at helping riders progressively develop motorcycle control, technical skills, safety awareness and riding judgement across different riding environments.
Each level will combine theoretical instruction, practical training, assessment and certification. Riders will have to successfully clear the assessment at each level before progressing to the next.
Building skills for track and terrain
Led by certified instructors who include national champions, the programmes will combine classroom-based learning with practical sessions at controlled racetracks and off-road training environments.
The curriculum will cover motorcycle dynamics, braking, throttle management, body positioning, cornering, line selection, terrain assessment, obstacle handling, emergency response and safe riding practices.
Ultraviolette, CEO and Co-Founder, Narayan Subramaniam, said track and off-road riding represent different forms of motorcycling but require common fundamentals such as control, precision, judgement and an understanding of the machine.
“With Track Attack and Into the Wild, we are bringing these disciplines together under a structured rider-development platform. Our aim is to give our customers a clear pathway to progressively build their skills, whether they want to explore performance riding on a racetrack or challenge themselves across technical terrain,” he said.
Subramaniam said performance engineering remains a key focus for Ultraviolette, pointing to the company’s F99 superbike and its high-speed records.
“Initiating our certified rider training program is the first step towards electric motorsports in India,” he added.
Track Attack focuses on performance riding
Track Attack will form the track-focused arm of the academy, offering riders a controlled environment to understand motorcycle dynamics and develop performance-riding skills.
The programme will progress from foundational track skills to advanced performance techniques, covering racing lines, braking points, corner entry and exit, throttle control, body positioning, acceleration, track positioning, overtaking awareness, lap consistency and performance analysis.
Safety and riding discipline will remain central to the programme, with training also covering track etiquette, flag protocols, protective equipment, pre-ride motorcycle checks and circuit awareness.
Into the Wild takes riders off-road
Into the Wild will serve as the academy’s off-road training pathway, building on Ultraviolette’s existing introductory riding format and evolving it into a progressive skills and certification programme.
The training will focus on motorcycle control across loose and uneven terrain, including body positioning, balance, throttle and brake control, off-road cornering, terrain assessment, obstacle navigation, motorcycle recovery and responsible trail practices.
As riders progress through the levels, they will encounter increasingly technical terrain and demanding riding scenarios.
Three-level certification framework
While Track Attack and Into the Wild will remain distinct programmes, both will follow a common three-level training and certification framework.
Level 1 will focus on fundamental riding techniques, motorcycle control and safety principles.
Level 2 will introduce greater technical complexity and more demanding riding scenarios, building on skills demonstrated at Level 1.
Level 3 will focus on advanced techniques, higher-intensity training and specialised track-performance or technical off-road riding.
Each level will have defined learning outcomes, theoretical and practical instruction and a structured assessment. Riders who successfully meet the requirements will receive the corresponding Track Attack or Into the Wild certification.
Progression will be based on demonstrated competence rather than participation alone, with riders required to demonstrate the necessary control, consistency, judgement and safety awareness before advancing.
Year-round training calendar
Ultraviolette plans to build a year-round training calendar across a growing network of racetracks and off-road destinations in India.
The programme will begin with Level 1 Into the Wild training in Bengaluru on August 23, 2026, followed by a Track Attack session on September 27, 2026.
The company said the expanding calendar will provide riders with a structured pathway to develop their skills across varied terrains and riding conditions.
