PVR INOX Ltd has expanded its PVR Soul Space Spirit property in Bellandur, Bengaluru, with three new auditoriums, including the city’s eighth 4DX experience and two mainstream screens with a combined seating capacity of 1,143.
The expansion takes the cinema to seven screens and strengthens its position as an entertainment destination for audiences across the Bellandur–Marathahalli–Varthur–Sarjapur Road corridor.
New 4DX experience debuts
Located on Bengaluru’s Outer Ring Road, the property is surrounded by residential communities and major technology hubs. The new 4DX auditorium introduces motion-enabled seating and multisensory effects designed to provide a more immersive movie-going experience.
The three new auditoriums have a dedicated entrance on the fifth floor, while the existing four screens will continue to operate on the fourth floor. Across the expanded cinema, audiences can access laser projection, Dolby Atmos surround sound and Next Gen 3D.
Focus on high-growth urban markets

“The addition allows us to strengthen an established cinema while ensuring that it continues to meet the expectations of today’s moviegoers,” he said.

The expansion is part of PVR INOX’s strategy to strengthen its presence in high-growth urban catchments and upgrade established properties in line with changing audience expectations.
With the launch, PVR INOX now operates 1,789 screens across 356 properties in 114 cities in India and Sri Lanka, making it the largest multiplex network in the region.
