Premium lifestyle fragrance brand Nisara has expanded its women’s fragrance portfolio with the launch of Aqua Queen, as the company looks to capitalise on India’s growing appetite for premium yet affordable perfumes.
The new fragrance was unveiled at Gifts World Expo 2026, where the brand is showcasing its portfolio of perfumes, attars, gift sets and premium fragrance collections to retailers, distributors and industry buyers.
The launch reflects a broader shift in India’s fragrance market, where consumers are increasingly moving beyond deodorants to long-lasting Eau de Parfum (EDP) offerings, creating opportunities for brands positioned in the affordable premium segment.
Targeting the premium sweet spot
Nisara said Aqua Queen has been developed for women seeking fresh, versatile fragrances suitable for both everyday wear and special occasions.
The fragrance opens with mandarin notes, transitions into jasmine and finishes with a soft musky base, delivering what the company describes as a clean aquatic scent profile.
Developed using fine fragrance oils sourced from France, Aqua Queen features a 20% Eau de Parfum concentration and is formulated with IFRA-compliant ingredients. The dermatologically tested perfume is packaged in a blue bottle inspired by ocean waves.
Bridging the gap
The launch aligns with Nisara’s strategy of bridging the gap between mass-market deodorants and expensive luxury perfumes.
The company is targeting the ₹500-₹1,000 price segment, a category witnessing rising consumer interest as Indian buyers increasingly seek premium fragrances without paying luxury brand prices.
Industry observers note that increasing disposable incomes, greater awareness of global fragrance trends and the rapid growth of beauty-focused e-commerce platforms have accelerated demand for premium perfumes across urban India.
Expanding fragrance portfolio
Besides Aqua Queen, Nisara is showcasing its broader portfolio at Gifts World Expo 2026, including fragrances for men, women and unisex consumers, premium parfum collections, traditional attars and curated gifting solutions.
The company said the exhibition provides an opportunity to strengthen its retail partnerships and expand its presence in India’s organised fragrance market.
Nisara Founder Tarvinder Pal said Aqua Queen was created to deliver a fragrance that is refreshing, versatile and timeless while remaining true to the company’s philosophy of making fine fragrances more accessible.
He added that every Nisara perfume undergoes extensive trials before launch, with the objective of creating fragrances that become part of consumers’ everyday lifestyle rather than remaining occasional purchases.
Retail expansion
Aqua Queen is available in a 100 ml Eau de Parfum format through the company’s website as well as major online marketplaces including Amazon, Nykaa, Myntra, Flipkart, Purplle and Blinkit. The fragrance is also available through Nisara’s exclusive stores and more than 200 Purplle outlets across India.
