Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd reported an approximately 38% year-on-year growth in consolidated revenue for the first quarter of FY2027, driven by strong demand across its India and international operations, robust same-store sales growth and rapid expansion of its showroom network.

The jewellery retailer said its India business recorded revenue growth of over 38% during the quarter ended June 30, 2026, despite the impact of the 28-day Adhik Maas period, when wedding-related demand typically slows in several parts of the country. Same-store sales growth stood at around 28% during the quarter.

India business maintains strong momentum
Kalyan Jewellers said healthy same-store sales growth across key markets helped sustain strong operating momentum despite seasonal demand moderation during Adhik Maas, a phenomenon that occurs once every three years.

The company said the quarter was “very satisfying” as it delivered broad-based growth across its core business segments.

Gold recycling campaign gains traction
During the quarter, Kalyan Jewellers launched its ‘Shine with India’ gold recirculation campaign to increase the use of recycled gold and reduce dependence on imported gold.

The initiative helped increase recycled gold’s contribution to more than 46% of revenue during Q1 FY2027. In June alone, recycled gold accounted for over 55% of revenue, reflecting strong customer response to the campaign.

International operations deliver robust growth
The company’s international business recorded approximately 35% revenue growth during the quarter compared with the corresponding period last year.

Within the West Asia, revenue grew by around 30%, supported by same-store sales growth despite lower customer footfall during April owing to geopolitical tensions in the region.

International operations contributed about 14% of Kalyan Jewellers’ consolidated revenue during the quarter.

Candere revenue surges 112%
Kalyan Jewellers’ digital-first jewellery platform Candere continued its strong growth trajectory, recording approximately 112% year-on-year revenue growth during the quarter.

To support expansion, the company opened 12 Kalyan showrooms and five Candere outlets across India during Q1 FY2027.

Showroom network expands to 524
The company said the current quarter has started on a positive note as it prepares for the upcoming festive and wedding season with new collections, marketing campaigns and additional showroom launches.

As of June 30, 2026, Kalyan Jewellers operated 524 showrooms globally, comprising 354 Kalyan showrooms in India, 38 in the Middle East, two in the US, one in the UK and 129 Candere outlets
