PPAP Partners Hutchinson To Make Automotive Body Sealing Systems

PPAP Automotive Ltd., a manufacturer of automotive sealing systems and interior and exterior automotive components, has entered into a technology partnership agreement with Hutchinson to manufacture advanced body sealing systems in India for the passenger vehicle segment.

The collaboration is expected to strengthen PPAP’s technological capabilities and expand its automotive body sealing systems portfolio, enabling the company to cater to the evolving requirements of domestic and global automobile manufacturers operating in India.

Technology collaboration

Under the agreement, production of the body sealing systems will be undertaken at PPAP’s existing manufacturing facilities across India, supporting localisation and scalable production.

The partnership is aimed at enhancing PPAP’s technology-driven growth strategy, increasing value-added content per vehicle and deepening its engagement with automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across conventional and next-generation mobility platforms.
