TVS Motor Company reported a robust 38% year-on-year growth in total sales for July 2026, driven by strong domestic demand, surging electric vehicle (EV) sales and healthy export performance.
The company sold 629,675 units during the month compared with 456,350 units in July 2025.
Domestic business drives growth
Total two-wheeler sales rose 38% to 603,138 units in July 2026 from 438,790 units a year earlier.
Domestic two-wheeler sales outpaced overall growth, climbing 42% to 437,394 units, compared with 308,720 units in the corresponding month last year, reflecting sustained demand across motorcycles and scooters.
EV sales continue strong momentum
TVS Motor’s electric mobility business maintained its rapid expansion, with two-wheeler EV sales soaring 158% year-on-year to 60,934 units in July 2026, up from 23,605 units in July 2025.
The sharp rise underscores the company’s growing presence in India’s fast-expanding electric two-wheeler market.
Exports remain resilient
The company’s international business also delivered a healthy performance, with total overseas sales increasing 29% to 184,264 units from 142,629 units in July 2025.
International two-wheeler sales grew 27% to 165,744 units, compared with 130,070 units in the year-ago period, supported by demand across key export markets.
Three-wheelers post strong growth
The three-wheeler segment registered an impressive 51% increase in sales, reaching 26,537 units in July 2026 against 17,560 units in the same month last year.
