100 Units Wonder: Ducati Reveals 10 Iconic Motorcycles To Mark 100 Years

CW Bureau ·

Ducati has unveiled the Collezione 100, a limited-edition collection of ten special motorcycles created to celebrate 100 years of the iconic Italian motorcycle manufacturer.

Presented at the Mugello circuit in Italy, the collection features ten numbered editions inspired by some of the most legendary motorcycles in Ducati’s racing and road-going history. Each model will be limited to just 100 units globally.

The motorcycles feature exclusive liveries inspired by historic Ducati bikes, Alcantara or leather seats embroidered with the Ducati 100 logo, and special Centenary Bronze detailing across components including brake calipers, fuel cap rings and numbered plaques.

Inspired by Ducati’s racing legacy
The collection pays tribute to some of Ducati’s most celebrated motorcycles and racing milestones spanning decades.

Among the highlights is the Panigale V4 S 100, inspired by the legendary 750 Imola Desmo that won the 1972 Imola 200 Miles race with riders Paul Smart and Bruno Spaggiari. The Panigale V2 S 100 draws inspiration from Franco Uncini’s 1975 championship-winning 750 Super Sport Desmo.

The Streetfighter V4 S 100 revives the styling of the 1979 900 Sport Desmo Darmah, while the Monster 100 celebrates the iconic Monster S4Rs Tricolore from 2008.

Other standout models include the XDiavel V4 100 inspired by the “California Hot Rod” that won at Daytona in 1977, the Diavel V4 RS 100 based on the historic 900 Replica, and the Multistrada V4 RS 100 paying tribute to the 500 SL Pantah.

The collection also includes special editions of the Scrambler, Hypermotard V2 SP and DesertX inspired by Ducati classics from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.

Premium collector experience
Each motorcycle in the Collezione 100 comes with a dedicated rear stand, motorcycle cover, certificate of authenticity and a pair of numbered art prints signed by renowned Italian artist Ugo Nespolo.

The V4 models will additionally be delivered in customised wooden cases. Ducati said every collector motorcycle will also feature a dedicated start-up ceremony to enhance the ownership experience.

Alongside the motorcycles, Ducati also showcased a capsule collection featuring helmets and jackets inspired by the Collezione 100. Ducati partners Carrera and Piquadro presented special eyewear and luggage collections designed around the centenary theme.

India receives strong response
Ducati said the Collezione 100 will make its public debut at World Ducati Week scheduled from July 3 to 5 before travelling to the Goodwood Festival of Speed and later returning to Bologna for museum displays.

The company also confirmed strong interest from India, with Ducati India already receiving orders for all Centenary models from leading Ducati customers. Bookings for the collection are currently underway, offering enthusiasts an opportunity to own a part of Ducati’s centenary celebrations.

The Collezione 100 underlines Ducati’s strategy of blending heritage, racing legacy and premium craftsmanship while celebrating a century of uninterrupted motorcycle history.
