Royal Orchid Hotels Ltd (ROHL), a hospitality chain, has expanded its Iconiqa Collection with the addition of Laxminarayan Palace Resort in Vadodara.

The company, through its subsidiary Royal Orchid Goa Pvt Ltd, has signed a revenue-sharing agreement for the property, marking the next phase in the evolution of the Iconiqa Collection from a standalone hotel brand into a curated portfolio of upscale hotels.

Heritage-inspired destination

Located near the iconic Laxmi Vilas Palace, the resort offers an urban-resort experience that blends heritage-inspired architecture with modern luxury.

The 106-room property features palace-inspired design, expansive event spaces and curated guest experiences, reinforcing Royal Orchid Hotels’ strategy of developing destination-led hospitality offerings rooted in the character of each city.

Expansion strategy

Royal Orchid Hotels Chairman & Managing Director Chander K. Baljee said “The Iconiqa Collection represents our vision of bringing together exceptional hotels that stand apart because of their individuality and the experiences they create. Laxminarayan Palace Resort is a remarkable addition to this portfolio.

The property’s palace-inspired architecture, expansive celebration spaces, refined hospitality, and deep connection to Vadodara’s cultural identity make it far more than a hotel—it is a destination in itself.

“As we continue to expand across India, our focus remains on creating hospitality experiences that are authentic, differentiated, and memorable for every guest,” he said.

Royal Orchid Hotels President Arjun Baljee said “Every hotel within the Iconiqa Collection is chosen because it offers something truly distinctive. The Collection is not defined by a shared design philosophy but by a shared commitment to exceptional experiences rooted in the identity of each destination.”
