Aukera Network Grows To 37 Stores With New Outlets In Chennai & B’luru

CW Bureau ·

Aukera, an Indian lab-grown diamond jewellery brand, has opened two new stores in Chennai and Bengaluru, taking its retail network to 37 outlets across eight cities.

The openings mark the brand’s second store in Chennai and its 12th in Bengaluru. The company has expanded from 13 stores in June 2025 to 37, with all its outlets owned and operated by the brand.

Expansion across eight cities

Over the past 18 months, Aukera has entered Chennai, Pune, Visakhapatnam, Lucknow and Dehradun, taking its presence to eight cities.

The expansion has been supported by a $15 million Series B funding round led by Peak XV Partners in 2025 and a ₹90 crore fund-raise in July 2026 led by existing investor Alteria Capital.

Management comment

“Our customers want to see how a diamond performs in light, compare two of the same carat side by side and ask every question before they decide, which is why we open stores where women already shop,” Aukera, Co-Founder and CEO, Lisa Mukhedkar, said.

“We are growing into a national brand without diluting what sets Aukera apart, and the next phase of growth is already under way,” Aukera, Co-Founder, Kumar Saurabh, said.

Certification and signature designs

Every Aukera diamond carries an International Gemological Institute (IGI) report. The brand’s signature solitaires also carry GemEx or GCAL 8X light-performance grading, which measures a diamond’s brilliance, fire and scintillation.

Aukera said it is the only jewellery brand in India to offer GemEx certification and the only lab-grown diamond brand in the country with GCAL 8X certification.

Focus on differentiated jewellery

The brand has seven trademarked signature solitaire designs, including The Aukera Orchid, Extra Brilliant, Enhanced Hearts & Arrows and the Ashtalakshmi Solitaire.

Every piece is backed by buy-back and exchange options, according to the company.

The company said it will continue expanding its retail presence while focusing on certification, design differentiation and customer experience.
