TVS Motor Targets European Growth In Big Way As Italy Sales Jump 110%

CW Bureau ·

TVS Motor Company is stepping up its European expansion, with sales in Italy rising 110% over the past year, as the two- and three-wheeler manufacturer prepares to showcase new models for the European market at EICMA 2026 in Milan.

The company will unveil its latest offerings at a press conference on November 3 at 10 am CET during the international two-wheeler exhibition. Its stand is located in Hall 18, Stand I64.

The expansion marks the next phase of TVS Motor’s European growth strategy, launched at EICMA 2025. Over the past year, the company has focused on building its dealer network, after-sales capabilities and customer support infrastructure across key markets.

Italy leads European expansion
Italy, TVS Motor’s first European market, has emerged as a key growth driver, with the company now working with around 100 dealers in the country.

Its 110% sales growth significantly outpaced the overall Italian market’s growth of approximately 10%, indicating increased customer acceptance of the brand.

TVS Motor is also strengthening its direct presence in Europe by establishing national sales companies. Operations in Italy are being followed by France and Germany, where dealerships are expected to open soon.

In the Iberian market, 25 TVS dealers are already operational across Spain and Portugal. The company’s products are also available in Malta, while Hungary, Greece and Serbia are among the markets scheduled for entry in the near future.

New models to strengthen market presence
The upcoming EICMA showcase is expected to highlight the company’s product strategy for Europe as it builds on its expanding distribution network.

TVS Motor Company President, International Business, Peyman Kargar said the company had made significant progress in establishing its European presence since its debut at EICMA 2025.

The company has built a foundation in Italy, established a presence in key markets and strengthened engagement with dealers and customers, he said, adding that its product portfolio would continue to reflect its focus on innovation, quality and customer centricity.

Kargar has also been appointed Director and Chief Executive Officer of TVS Motor Company, effective January 27, 2027.

Global operations support European ambitions
TVS Motor serves 68 million customers across more than 90 countries. Its European operations draw on the company’s innovation and design capabilities in India, Bologna and the United Kingdom.

The expansion across European markets, alongside the planned introduction of new models, signals the company’s effort to build a broader international presence by combining product development with local distribution and after-sales support.
