Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has launched the Glamour X 125 with Integrated-ABS, introducing what the company describes as the first motorcycle in the 125cc segment to combine single-channel ABS with an Integrated Braking System (IBS).
Hero MotoCorp said the technology is designed to improve vehicle stability and reduce braking distance, strengthening the safety proposition of its premium 125cc motorcycle.
Integrated ABS raises safety benchmark
The Glamour X 125’s Integrated Anti-lock Braking System is designed to deliver sharper and more responsive braking across varying road conditions.
The new braking technology complements the motorcycle’s existing safety features, including Panic Brake Alert, which uses fast-flashing LED winkers to alert following traffic during emergency braking, and Hazard Lamps for emergency signalling.
“The 125cc segment is witnessing a rapid evolution, with customers increasingly demanding a blend of contemporary styling, advanced technology and uncompromised safety,” said Hero MotoCorp, Chief Business Officer – India Business Unit, Ashutosh Varma, said.
“By introducing first-in-segment integrated ABS, we are not just upgrading a motorcycle; we are reshaping the safety standards for the entire category. This launch strengthens our portfolio and offers intelligent, future-ready mobility solutions that empower the new-age Indian rider,” he added.
More than 60 connected features
The Glamour X 125 gets a 10.7 cm adaptive multi-colour instrument console with ambient lighting and more than 60 features.
The connected technology package includes Gear Shift Advisory, Distance-to-Empty and Real-Time Mileage Indicator. Bluetooth connectivity enables Turn-by-Turn Navigation with ETA display, along with call and SMS alerts.
The motorcycle also retains the Ride Modes and Cruise Control features that Hero MotoCorp introduced with the Glamour X. Riders can select from Eco, Road and Power modes depending on their riding requirements, while Cruise Control is aimed at reducing fatigue during longer journeys and supporting fuel efficiency.
11.4 BHP engine with three ride modes
Power comes from Hero MotoCorp’s Sprint-EBT engine, which develops 11.4 BHP (8.5 kW) at 8,250 rpm. The engine has been engineered for smooth power delivery and low noise, vibration and harshness (NVH).
The combination of the engine with three ride modes gives riders the flexibility to prioritise efficiency, everyday riding or performance.
Muscular design and everyday practicality
The Glamour X 125 features a muscular and sculpted design, with full LED lighting carrying Hero’s ‘H’ signature and sporty graphics.
For everyday usability, the motorcycle gets a wide handlebar, a long flat seat and a low seat height aimed at improving rider accessibility and comfort. Dual under-seat mobile storage and a Type-C USB charging port add to its convenience features.
New colours and ₹1.01 lakh price
The Glamour X 125 with ABS is available in four colour options. The two new shades are Gun Metal Grey and Matt Axis Grey, alongside Black Pearl Red and Black Teal Blue.
The new variant is priced at ₹1,01,000 ex-showroom, Delhi, and is available at Hero MotoCorp dealerships across India.
