Chairperson Roshni Nadar Malhotra in a letter to shareholders said the technology industry is undergoing a fundamental transformation as AI reshapes the way businesses operate through higher agility and productivity.
She said HCLTech’s engineering expertise, investments in intellectual property through HCLSoftware and development of a full-stack AI portfolio alongside its services business position the company to achieve its long-term AI ambitions. The company is accelerating investments in this area with confidence.
Building an AI-native company
The company is investing in upskilling its workforce to transform HCLTech into an AI-native organisation.
It is also leveraging its growing Gen Z workforce while strengthening leadership capabilities to help customers adopt AI-driven technologies and digital transformation solutions.

Roshni Nadar Malhotra said the technology industry has successfully navigated disruptions in the past and emerged stronger each time.
She said the current AI-led transformation could prove to be the most rewarding phase for the industry. HCLTech remains optimistic about future growth and continues to execute its long-term strategy with the support of an experienced leadership team.
Celebrating 50 years
The company is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the HCL Group this year. Founded by Shiv Nadar with the vision of making India self-reliant in technology, the group has grown into a global technology enterprise.
From developing India’s first indigenous 8-bit personal computer to delivering several industry-first innovations, HCLTech said its journey has been built on innovation, resilience and technological leadership.
Strong performance
Despite a challenging business environment, HCLTech recorded the fastest constant currency revenue growth among its comparable peers for the third consecutive year in FY26.
The company also ended the year with $620 million in Advanced AI revenue, highlighting the growing contribution of AI-led solutions to its business and reinforcing its strategy to lead the next phase of technology transformation.
