ReadyAssist, an AI-powered vehicle assistance and service platform, has launched a nationwide sustainability campaign on the occasion of World Environment Day, engaging its network of more than 11,000 service providers to promote tree plantation and environmental stewardship across India.
The initiative encourages service providers across cities, towns and local communities to plant trees, ensure their upkeep and contribute towards building greener neighbourhoods. The campaign seeks to create long-term environmental impact by combining community participation with sustained maintenance efforts.
Focus on long-term environmental impact
Unlike conventional plantation drives that often centre on one-time activities, ReadyAssist’s campaign places equal emphasis on the long-term care and survival of saplings. The company said the initiative is designed to foster community ownership and encourage a culture of sustainability at the grassroots level.
By focusing on continuous maintenance and monitoring, the campaign aims to generate measurable environmental benefits while strengthening local engagement in sustainability efforts.
Mec+ platform to drive participation
The campaign is being implemented through Mec+, ReadyAssist’s dedicated platform for service providers. As part of the initiative, the company has expanded its Mec+ Rewards Program to recognise environmental contributions in addition to service excellence.
Participating service providers can earn reward points for verified tree plantation and maintenance activities, creating a structured framework that incentivises sustained participation and accountability.
Company sees sustainability as a collective responsibility
ReadyAssist, Head of Marketing, Varun R said environmental responsibility becomes more meaningful when integrated into everyday actions and community engagement.
“Businesses today have an opportunity to create impact not only through dedicated sustainability programmes but also by enabling the communities connected to them to participate in positive change. Through this campaign, and in collaboration with our Vendor Relationship Management Team, we aim to inspire collective action, encourage environmental awareness, and create a platform where every small contribution helps build greener and more sustainable communities,” he said.
ReadyAssist, Head of Vendor Relationship Management, Nickhel Somaiah said the company’s service providers are deeply connected to local communities and can play a key role in driving environmental action.
“We are empowering our service network to actively participate in creating greener surroundings while fostering a stronger sense of ownership and responsibility towards the environment. By engaging our partners in this effort, we are strengthening community connections and driving meaningful environmental impact together,” he said.
Leveraging service network for community action
ReadyAssist said its extensive service network, which operates across communities throughout India, positions the company to translate sustainability goals into local action. Through the campaign, the company aims to build a large-scale movement that combines environmental responsibility, community participation and long-term sustainability.
The company currently operates through a network of more than 11,000 technicians and 6,500 tow trucks covering over 19,100 pin codes across the country, supported by its in-house technology platform.
