Anarock Acquires 51% Stake In DSP Design Associates To Widen Services

CW Bureau ·

Anarock, one of India’s leading real estate services companies, has acquired a 51% stake in architecture, master planning and interior design firm DSP Design Associates, expanding its real estate services portfolio into design and build capabilities.

The transaction brings together Anarock Group’s real estate advisory and transaction capabilities with DSP’s more than three-decade design legacy. The combined entity will offer an integrated real estate and design proposition across India and select overseas markets.

Expanding the real estate ecosystem
DSP Design Associates has a presence across Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, NCR and Hyderabad, with more than 320 professionals in India. The firm has delivered over 1,000 projects and is ranked the 42nd-largest architectural practice globally in the WA100 2026 list and the fifth-largest interior design firm on the International Giants List 2026.

DSP will continue to be led by its founding leadership, with overarching guidance from Anarock. The arrangement is intended to provide continuity in the firm’s brand, management, client relationships and design culture.

“DSP’s design pedigree and blue-chip client base make it a natural extension of the Anarock real estate ecosystem. It is a logical fit for and furtherance of our Project Management & Engineering Services (PMES) and advisory business lines and allows us to scale faster while staying true to and amplifying scope of services we offer to our clients,” said Anarock Group Founder & Chairman Anuj Puri.

“Together, we can offer developers and corporates a seamless journey from site selection and transactions to design and build, unlocking significant value across the asset lifecycle,” Puri added.

DSP brings design capabilities
DSP operates across three core capabilities — master planning, architecture, and interior design and design-build services. Its projects span commercial IT parks, mixed-use developments, residential, retail and hospitality sectors, with more than 125 million sq ft of ongoing projects.

Its commercial clients include CapitaLand, Mapletree, Sattva, Tata Realty, Bagmane Developers and Puravankara. In residential and mixed-use projects, the firm has worked with Adani Realty, L&T Realty, Emaar and Piramal Realty, among others.

DSP’s interior design arm has worked with 50 Fortune 500 companies, providing design consultancy and design-and-build services through a curated contractor panel. Its clients include organisations across the technology, financial and professional services, and life sciences sectors.

Focus on expansion
DSP Design Associates, Co-Founder and Principal,  Bimal Desai, said the partnership would allow the firm to scale while retaining its design philosophy and client relationships.

“This partnership allows us to scale higher and faster while staying true to the design philosophy and client relationships we have built over decades. While the foundation we have built remains unchanged, Anarock now gives us the platform to expand across new geographies and service lines,” Desai said.

Anarock operates across India and the Middle East and provides services covering residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, land, industrial and flexible workspaces. As of March 31, 2026, it had more than 2,300 professionals and offered services including investment banking, research, strategic advisory, valuations, project management and engineering services.

The acquisition therefore extends Anarock’s service offering from property advisory and transactions towards a broader site-selection, transaction, design and build proposition.
