Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd (SHRL), a hospitality company specialising in leisure holidays and destination experiences, has opened Sterling Vanyatara Tadoba in Maharashtra’s Chimur region.
The launch strengthens the company’s portfolio of jungle resorts across India. The 18-key property has been designed as an intimate wilderness retreat, offering guests a stay closely connected to the surrounding natural environment.
Resort offers access to five safari gates
Sterling Vanyatara Tadoba provides access to five safari gates of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve. Its 18-key format is designed to offer a quieter, more personalised experience for visitors exploring the region’s wildlife.
“At Sterling, we see wildlife and nature-led holidays as an increasingly important part of our hospitality portfolio, and we are deliberately building depth in this category,” Sterling Holiday Resorts Managing Director & CEO, Vikram Lalvani, said.
“As Destination Architects, our ambition is to make the forest the experience, not just the safari. Sterling Vanyatara Tadoba strengthens that proposition while creating opportunities to connect destinations such as Pench, Tadoba and Tipeshwar into richer journeys for families and wildlife enthusiasts,” he said.
Focus on richer wildlife journeys
Lalvani said the company aims to offer travellers more opportunities to explore India’s wilderness beyond conventional safari experiences.
“Our ambition is not simply to take travellers on more safaris. It is to give them more of India’s wilderness to discover,” he said.
The company already has a presence in Pench and Tipeshwar. The addition of Tadoba could help bring the three destinations together into a wider forest circuit, enabling travellers to experience different wilderness landscapes during a single journey.
Partners emphasise privacy and setting
“What attracted us to Tadoba was the power of the wilderness and the opportunity to create a retreat where the experience continues after guests return from the forest,” Ashok L Bhaiyya and Gaurav Bhaiyya, Partners, Sterling Vanyatara Tadoba, said.
“We wanted space, privacy and a strong sense of place to define the stay. Sterling’s understanding of Indian leisure travel and its ability to build richer journeys, especially around wildlife destinations, make it a natural partner for that vision,” they said.
The launch reflects Sterling Holiday Resorts’ strategy of expanding nature-led hospitality offerings and connecting wildlife destinations through integrated travel experiences.
