Acumatica, a global provider of cloud-based ERP solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, has opened a Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, marking a key step in its international growth strategy.
The new centre has started operations with more than 30 employees, with additional hiring planned in the coming months. Initially focused on engineering, the Hyderabad GCC is being positioned as a centre of engineering excellence to accelerate product innovation and strengthen Acumatica’s ability to serve customers globally.
India to power global engineering growth
The Hyderabad GCC becomes part of Acumatica’s global operating footprint, which includes operations across the United States, Canada, Serbia and Sri Lanka.
While the new centre will initially concentrate on engineering, Acumatica said it could expand into additional disciplines over time as the company scales its presence in the region.
Acumatica, Chief Engineering Officer, Miten Mehta, said, “We have created the core of our growth engine in India with an initial seed, and we look forward to it becoming a mature tree and a major contributor to the success of Acumatica customers and Acumatica itself.”

GCC to support global customers
The Hyderabad centre will provide a collaborative environment for Acumatica’s India-based employees to develop products and capabilities for customers across global markets.
The company said the centre forms part of its long-term strategy to build a diverse and globally distributed engineering organisation capable of supporting sustained growth and delivering greater customer impact.
The GCC is expected to strengthen Acumatica’s engineering capabilities while creating a platform for the company to expand its regional operations and talent base.
Partnership with ANSR company
Acumatica has established the Hyderabad centre in partnership with Summit Consulting Services, an ANSR company that specialises in building and scaling global capability centres.
The partnership brings expertise in capability design, talent strategy and operational scaling to Acumatica’s expansion in Hyderabad.
The GCC’s launch also underlines the growing role of India as a base for global technology companies seeking engineering talent and innovation capabilities to support international operations.
