In a strategic move to reinforce its foothold in India’s highly competitive entry MPV segment, Renault India has unveiled the upgraded Triber 2026, bringing a sharper focus on accessibility, comfort, and feature enrichment for family car buyers.

Priced between ₹5.80 lakh and ₹8 lakh (ex-showroom), the refreshed Triber aims to democratise premium features by pushing meaningful upgrades into entry and mid variants, aligning with evolving consumer expectations in a value-conscious market.

Elevating the family car experience

The 2026 iteration builds on Triber’s established reputation as a versatile family vehicle by introducing a host of practical enhancements. From automatic climate control in the top variant to improved cabin ergonomics, the update focuses on elevating everyday usability without compromising affordability.

Taking comfort to the next level

Renault India Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Francisco Hidalgo Marques, said: “The second-generation Triber has been celebrated as the ultimate family car in the segment, and with this thoughtful upgrade we’ve taken practicality and comfort to the next level. By introducing segment-first features like automatic air conditioning, full-fold second-row seats with best-in-class boot space, and the standard one-touch tumble function for easy third-row access, we are reaffirming our commitment to delivering unmatched value to our customers.”

Feature upgrades across variants

Renault has taken a calibrated approach to enriching each variant of the Triber. The Evolution variant now comes equipped with steering-mounted audio and phone controls, a day and night adjustable IRVM, and a rear room lamp, enhancing convenience for everyday driving.

The Techno variant sees notable additions including a driver seat armrest, height-adjustable driver seat, rear defogger, a 12V socket for the third row, front tweeters, and electrically foldable ORVMs, improving both comfort and functionality. Meanwhile, the top-end Emotion variant is now equipped with automatic climate control, elevating in-cabin comfort for longer journeys.

The cabin experience is further enhanced with a modern dual-tone dashboard and a 20.32 cm floating touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, catering to the connected needs of today’s users.

Modular design remains the core differentiator

A key pillar of Triber’s appeal continues to be its flexible seating configuration, and the 2026 model retains its unique adaptability with 5, 6, and 7-seater options. With segment-leading roominess and adaptable seating layouts, the Triber remains well positioned to cater to diverse lifestyle needs, whether for daily commuting or extended family travel.

Adding to its practicality, the second-row seats now fold completely, unlocking a segment-leading boot space of up to 1065 litres. This reinforces the Triber’s positioning as one of the most versatile vehicles in its class.

Safety and performance stay robust

Reinforcing its safety-first approach, Renault has equipped the Triber 2026 with a comprehensive package of 21 standard safety features, including six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system, ensuring peace of mind for customers.

On the performance front, the vehicle continues with its 1.0-litre petrol engine delivering 72 PS of power at 6250 rpm and 96 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual available across all variants and an automatic transmission in the top variant, offering flexibility for different driving preferences.

Strengthening a key growth pillar

With over two lakh customers in India and a growing presence in global markets, the Triber remains a key pillar in Renault’s India strategy. The 2026 upgrade underscores the company’s continued focus on delivering high-value, feature-rich mobility solutions tailored to Indian families.

Backed by a standard three-year warranty, extendable up to seven years with unlimited kilometre coverage under the Renault Secure program, the new Triber further enhances ownership confidence and strengthens its appeal among budget-conscious buyers seeking versatility without compromise.
