Hong Kong-based Crown Worldwide Group, a privately owned logistics company, has strengthened its India presence with the launch of a new integrated facility in Coimbatore, underlining the company’s long-term commitment to one of its fastest-growing global markets.

Spread across a 4.5-acre site, the new facility is designed to support the growing demand for storage, information management and workplace asset solutions from businesses across India.

Facility designed for future expansion
The Coimbatore facility has been developed with future scalability in mind and currently supports a Phase 1 capacity of over 468,000 Standard Carton Equivalents (SCE).

The company said Phase 2 expansion will add another 45,000 sq. ft., taking the facility’s total capacity to around 720,000 SCE without disrupting ongoing operations.

The site will support multiple business verticals including Crown Relocations and Crown Workspace, along with its Renew Centre, which focuses on refurbishing and reusing workplace assets.

A centralised building management system enables real-time monitoring of key functions including fire safety, climate control and electrical systems across Crown’s global network.

Expansion aligned with rising client demand
The company said the Phase 2 expansion is aimed at supporting the next wave of demand as businesses scale operations and data management requirements become increasingly complex.
