VA Tech Wabag Ltd, a leading pure-play multinational water technology company, has secured a ‘Medium’ domestic order from Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) for the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection and commissioning of an effluent treatment plant (ETP) at the Dhirubhai Ambani Green Energy Giga Complex (DAGEGC) in Jamnagar.
A ‘Medium’ domestic order refers to an order inflow valued between ₹100 crore and ₹250 crore.
Advanced wastewater treatment
The proposed ETP is scheduled to be completed within 13 months. The plant will incorporate chemical and biological treatment processes using state-of-the-art technologies to address the wastewater management requirements of the project.
The scope will also include sludge treatment with low-temperature drying technology, aimed at enabling efficient sludge management.
The order strengthens Waabag’s presence in large-scale industrial water and wastewater treatment projects and adds to its engagement with RIL.
