Aarti Industries Elevates Suyog Kotecha As MD & CEO From October

Aarti Industries Ltd (AIL), a speciality chemicals company, has announced a leadership transition as part of its long-term succession plan, appointing its current Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Suyog Kotecha as Managing Director & CEO with effect from October 1, 2026.

The board has also redesignated the current Chairman & Managing Director as Non-Executive Chairman, while the Vice Chairman & Managing Director and Executive Director have been elevated as Non-Executive Vice Chairmen.

Succession plan

The company said the transition reflects its commitment to institutional leadership, robust governance and sustainable value creation.

It marks the next phase in Aarti Industries’ evolution, where executive management will oversee day-to-day operations while continuing to benefit from the strategic guidance, industry expertise and entrepreneurial legacy of the promoter leadership.

Leadership transition

Since joining Aarti Industries as CEO in June 2024, Kotecha has worked with the board and senior leadership to strengthen strategic execution, deepen customer engagement, enhance organisational capabilities and reinforce the company’s long-term growth agenda.

The board said it has unanimously expressed confidence in Kotecha’s ability to lead the company through its next phase of growth.
