Brigade Group Targets Long-Term Growth With AI & Expansion Strategy

Brigade Enterprises Ltd, a leading real estate developer, is accelerating investments in artificial intelligence, technology and new project launches as it prepares for the next phase of growth across key markets.

The company said the objective is to use technology to serve customers more precisely and build a sharper, more responsive organisation.

AI-led transformation

“Artificial Intelligence and data have emerged as key strategic priorities for us. We are building dedicated internal teams to experiment with, deploy and scale AI-driven solutions across the organisation,” said Brigade Enterprises Managing Director Pavitra Shankar in a letter to shareholders.

Simultaneously, we are investing in large-scale upskilling initiatives to ensure our people are equipped for a technology-enabled future,”

Residential expansion

Brigade’s residential launch pipeline for FY27 stands at 11.6 million sq. ft. with a Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹11,900 crore across Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad.

The projects will primarily cater to the mid and upper mid-segment housing markets. The company also has a land bank of 57 million sq. ft., providing visibility for sustained multi-year growth across the three cities.

Growing customer businesses

The company said Brigade Plus has emerged as a fast-growing business that enables it to remain engaged with customers long after home purchases.

Over the past three years, the business has expanded significantly, reflecting a start-up mindset within the organisation. Brigade Showcase has also expanded into Chennai and Hyderabad, strengthening the company’s presence in these high-growth markets.

Commercial pipeline

Executive Chairman M. R. Jaishankar said, “Over the years, we have learnt that the best response to uncertainty is discipline. Our focus therefore remains unchanged: deepen our presence in markets we understand, maintain financial prudence and build businesses that can create value across cycles.”

Joint Managing Director Nirupa Shankar said, “As we look to FY27, we plan to launch 10 million sq. ft. of commercial projects, and a broader development runway of around 10 million sq. ft. across six cities.”

Flexible workspace growth

The company said its managed workspace platform, BuzzWorks, currently operates 20 centres and plans to add eight more during FY27.

It said the business is addressing rising demand from institutional occupiers for flexible office solutions and remains a strategic growth driver.
