Brahma AI, an AI-native operating system for enterprise audio-visual content, has raised $150 million through the issuance of preferred shares, including a $100 million investment from Multiples Alternate Asset Management.
The company has also received a further $100 million of investor interest, signalling strong demand for its enterprise-focused artificial intelligence platform.
Targeting four global verticals
Brahma AI is focused on four major verticals — media & entertainment, sports, healthcare and advertising. Its global anchor customers include Warner Bros, the NBA and Mayo Clinic, while Google, Hakuhodo and DNEG are among its strategic distribution partners.
Founded and led by Founder & CEO Prabhu Narasimhan, Brahma AI was created with a vision to bring together technology stacks and capabilities developed across DNEG, Metaphysic and Prime Focus Technologies into an independent AI-native platform for large enterprises.
The company has built its platform around Brahma AI Core and Brahma AI Studio and has expanded its applications across its four target sectors.
Combining content intelligence with AI creation
Brahma AI combines enterprise content intelligence and management with AI creation technologies covering visual AI, digital humans, voice and multilingual performance.
Its technology has also received industry recognition, including a 2026 Technology & Engineering Emmy Award.
Jo Plaete, Co-Founder & CTO, heads the company’s technology and R&D division, focusing on AI, visual AI, digital humans and high-fidelity synthetic media.
Multiples backs global expansion
Multiples Founder, MD & CEO Renuka Ramnath said the investment reflects the firm’s belief that enterprises are increasingly becoming content-driven organisations.
She said Brahma AI’s combination of enterprise technology, customer traction and applications spanning AI-powered content, localisation, digital humans and workflow automation positions it to address a multi-billion-dollar market opportunity.
Multiples Private Equity plans to support the company’s next phase of growth through investments in R&D, global market expansion, talent and process development.
New AI applications in pipeline
Brahma AI Founder & CEO Prabhu Narasimhan said the funding would support the company’s next phase of product development and expansion.
The company is preparing to launch interactive digital humans, while developing Brahma AI to be model agnostic and extending its technology into new use cases. Security, authenticity and provenance are also central to its platform strategy.
DNEG Founder & CEO Namit Malhotra said Brahma AI had developed its own technology and products and established major global customer and partnership relationships since its creation.
Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. served as the sole placement agent for the equity financing.
