Nissan Motor India Commences FY27 With 75% April Domestic Sales Surge

Nissan Motor India has reported a strong start to FY27, registering 75% growth in domestic sales in April 2026. The company recorded total sales of 5,388 units, including 3,203 units in the domestic market and 2,185 units from exports, reinforcing its steady growth momentum in India.

New launches fuel demand momentum
Customer interest across Nissan’s expanding product portfolio remained robust through April, supported by a strong market response to the Nissan Gravite.

Since its introduction, the Gravite has played a key role in driving volumes, appealing to customers with its 7-seat modularity, comfort and everyday practicality.

At the same time, the Nissan Magnite continues to be a cornerstone for the brand, further strengthening Nissan’s position in the highly competitive compact SUV segment.

Positive response from customers
Nissan Motor India MD Saurabh Vatsa said the company is encouraged by the strong start to the financial year. He noted that the positive response to the new Gravite, along with the continued success of the Magnite, reflects Nissan’s focus on aligning its offerings with evolving customer expectations in India.

He added that the current momentum strengthens the company’s confidence as it prepares to introduce new products and expand its network footprint across the country during the year.
