Nissan Motor India Pvt Ltd (NMIPL) reported a 129% year-on-year (YoY) jump in domestic wholesales to 3,006 units in June 2026, extending its domestic growth streak to four consecutive months.
The company also exported 5,340 units during the month, taking total wholesales to 8,346 units, up 16% from the corresponding period last year.
Domestic momentum gathers pace
Nissan said the sustained improvement in domestic sales reflects growing customer acceptance of its product portfolio and the steady execution of its market strategy.
The company has now recorded four successive months of year-on-year domestic sales growth, indicating a strengthening position in the Indian passenger vehicle market.
Magnite and Gravite drive customer demand
Nissan attributed the sales momentum to continued demand for the new Magnite and the recently introduced Gravite, which have helped strengthen customer engagement across key markets.
The automaker said it remains focused on expanding its customer reach and dealership network to support future growth.
TEKTON debut to strengthen product portfolio
Looking ahead, Nissan is preparing for the global premiere of the TEKTON on July 9, which the company sees as an important milestone in expanding its product portfolio in India.
The launch is expected to reinforce Nissan’s long-term growth strategy as it seeks to strengthen its presence in one of the world’s fastest-growing automobile markets.
