Ashok Leyland, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group, has secured an order for 715 vehicles from VRL Logistics, further strengthening the long-standing partnership between the two companies.
The order comprises AVTR 3120 haulage trucks, BOSS 1615 trucks and Oyster staff buses, reinforcing Ashok Leyland’s presence in India’s commercial vehicle and logistics segments.
Deliveries underway
The company said deliveries are progressing as planned, with 300 vehicles already delivered, while the remaining 415 vehicles are scheduled for delivery during the current year.
VRL Logistics Managing Director Anand Sankeshwar said the company has strong confidence in the quality, reliability and performance of Ashok Leyland’s vehicles. He added that the manufacturer’s after-sales support and expanding service network provide operational advantages that help ensure uninterrupted logistics operations.
According to him, the latest order marks a strategic expansion of the partnership aimed at driving higher logistics efficiency and supporting future growth.

Ashok Leyland National Sales Head, MHCV Madhavi Deshmukh said the order reflects the trust VRL Logistics has placed in Ashok Leyland’s technology, product performance and innovation capabilities.

The vehicles supplied under the order are equipped with advanced technologies and operational features aimed at improving reliability, reducing maintenance downtime and minimising unplanned stoppages.
