Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has launched new Super Splendor XTEC 2.0, aimed at strengthening its position in India’s highly competitive commuter motorcycle segment. The Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 is available at an ex-showroom Delhi price of ₹86,500.
The company said the latest iteration of the Super Splendor has been developed under its aggressive product revitalisation strategy, bringing together enhanced fuel efficiency, connected technology features, modern styling and improved rider convenience for everyday commuting.
Built on the legacy of the Splendor brand that has been powering Indian mobility since 1994, the new Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 has been designed for riders seeking dependable performance combined with next-generation technology and comfort features.
Speaking on the launch, Hero MotoCorp Chief Business Officer, India Business Unit, Ashutosh Varma said, “Hero MotoCorp’s Splendor has built a strong legacy of delivering trust, performance and everyday reliability to millions of customers for over three decades. Contemporary styling with premium features
The Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 gets a refreshed visual identity featuring dual-tone body graphics, new XTEC 2.0 badging, a premium 3D emblem, stitched dual-textured seats and sporty rim tapes.
Hero MotoCorp said the motorcycle is designed to offer a more premium and youthful road presence while retaining the practicality of the commuter segment.
The motorcycle will be offered in five colour options — Glossy Black, Candy Blazing Red, Matt Axis Grey, Matt Nexus Blue and Matt Chestnut Brown.
124.7cc engine delivers 72 KMPL mileage
Powering the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 is a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine producing 10.7 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 10.6 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
The company highlighted that the motorcycle delivers a claimed best-in-class fuel efficiency of 72 kmpl through the integration of Advanced Programmed Fuel Injection (APFI) technology and Hero’s i3S Idle Stop-Start System.
The bike also features an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), enabling near-silent engine starts and smoother restart functionality during stop-and-go city traffic conditions.
Smart connectivity and safety upgrades
Hero MotoCorp has equipped the Super Splendor XTEC 2.0 with a fully digital instrument cluster featuring Bluetooth connectivity.
The console supports call alerts, SMS notifications, missed call alerts, caller ID display and phone battery status updates, enhancing rider connectivity during daily commutes.
Additional convenience features include a USB Type-C charging port, Real Time Mileage Indicator (RTMi) and Low Fuel Indicator.
On the safety front, the motorcycle introduces segment-first hazard lights in the Super Splendor series. It also comes equipped with a front disc brake and a handlebar-mounted engine kill switch for improved control and ease of use.
