Unimech Aerospace Signs Long-Term Supply Contract With Austria’s FACC

Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Ltd has signed a long-term supply agreement with FACC Operations GmbH, Austria, one of the world’s leading aerospace Tier-1 suppliers and a strategic partner to major global aerospace OEMs.

The agreement covers the manufacture and supply of precision-engineered aerospace components and flying parts. It was awarded to Unimech following a competitive global sourcing process involving international suppliers.

Global recognition

The agreement concludes a multi-year engagement involving technical evaluations, capability assessments, quality reviews, commercial negotiations and extensive discussions between the two companies.

As part of the programme onboarding process, Unimech will undergo a qualification and industrialisation phase over the coming quarters.

Growth strategy

“This agreement reflects the confidence global aerospace customers place in our engineering, manufacturing, quality and delivery capabilities. This milestone further strengthens our Precision Components & Parts business and reinforces our position as a trusted manufacturing partner to leading aerospace customers worldwide,” Unimech Aerospace and Manufacturing Chairman & Managing Director Anil Kumar Puttan said.

The company said the agreement supports its strategy of expanding the Precision Components & Parts business through greater participation in long-term aerospace production programmes while strengthening its position in the global aerospace supply chain.
