EaseMyTrip has marked its entry into Bhopal’s electric bus market through its electric mobility arm, Easy Green Mobility (EMTev), as the company works to build capabilities to manufacture 5,000 electric buses annually within the next five years.
The Bhopal rollout is part of EaseMyTrip’s Vision 2030 roadmap and marks a step forward in EMTev’s electric bus manufacturing and operating business.
Focus on manufacturing and fleet operations
The company plans to build an integrated mobility ecosystem covering vehicle manufacturing, fleet operations, service support and progressive localisation of components.
The electric bus programme builds on the operating experience of YOLO Bus, EMTev’s operating arm, which runs conventional intercity buses across several markets in southern India.

“At EMT EV, our focus is to build both intra and intercity electric buses that combine long-range battery technology, fast charging, advanced safety systems, and passenger comfort, while delivering a significantly lower operating cost,” said EMTev, CEO, Manoj Soni.

12-metre electric coach offers 350-km range
EMTev’s initial portfolio includes a 12-metre electric seater coach with a seating capacity of 45+D. The bus is equipped with a 423.9 kWh LFP battery, PMSM motor, air suspension, EBS with ESC braking and EHPS steering.
The coach offers a stated range of up to 350 km and a top speed of up to 100 km per hour. Its liquid-cooled LFP battery supports fast charging through a dual-gun configuration.
AI features form part of roadmap
EMTev is developing AI-enabled driver monitoring and blind-spot detection capabilities, with advanced driver assistance systems forming part of its broader technology roadmap.
The company’s 12-metre and 13.5-metre electric bus models have received type approval, supporting its plans to scale manufacturing and operations.
